Orthopedic Spine Surgeon, MD

BIO

Dr Louis Boissiere trained as an orthopedic surgeon at CHU Bordeaux Pellegrin with Pr Jean-Marc Vital and Dr Ibrahim Obeid. He graduated in 2013 and has a 100% spinal surgery activity. He has special interest for pediatric and adult spinal deformities.

He still works at CHU Bordeaux Pellegrin and started a private activity in Clinique du Dos, Bordeaux-Bruges, France in 2016. He operates 350 patients every year including 150 deformity cases.

He joined European Spine Study Group in 2014, he is one of its most active members for the surgical field, as he included more than 100 operated patients, and the research fields. He published more than 80 peer-reviewed papers in high-ranking journals including the New England Journal of Medecine.
